The engine lubrication system is mixed.
The lubrication diagram is shown in Fig. 1
The gearbox is mechanical, three-speed, has five gears for moving forward and one for moving backward
Steering malfunctions do not always depend on its condition, and are sometimes caused by other reasons
Checking the ZIL-131 pneumatic drive for serviceability
Before driving, make sure that the pressure in the system is not lower than 4.5 kg/cm 2
Crankcase ventilation is forced, by sucking crankcase gases into the engine intake manifold through a special valve 3 installed on the intake manifold
The fuel filter-sediment collector is installed on the front bracket of the fuel tank
The oil pump (Fig. 1) is a two-section gear pump.
The upper section of the oil pump supplies oil to the engine lubrication system and to the centrifuge, and the lower section to the oil radiator.
