Axle design of the ZIL-131 car
The rear and middle axles of the car are driving.
Front axle - steered and driven
The car is equipped with a winch designed to pull the car out when overcoming difficult sections of the road, as well as to provide assistance to other cars stuck on the way

Radiator filler cap (Fig. 1) is sealed with two valves; inlet (air) and outlet (steam)
Adjusting the kingpin bearings
The kingpin bearings of the front drive axle steering knuckle are adjusted with a preliminary load
The safety valve is designed to protect the pneumatic system from excessive pressure increase in the event of damage to the automatic pressure regulator
The vehicle is equipped with power steering, which is combined into a single unit with the steering gear
The compressor is a piston type, non-straight-through, two-cylinder, single-stage compression
