Disconnect the negative cable from the battery

The gaskets should be replaced when changing the intake pipes and when burnout or wear of the gaskets is detected
The oil pump drive gear must be replaced when the teeth are worn out, and when the splines that connect the gear to the oil pump shaft are damaged or worn out
The chain tensioner is located inside the front part of the cylinder head and is attached to it
Remove the cylinder head cover (see Replacing the cylinder head cover gasket).
The main reason for replacing the chain is excessive stretching.
When the camshaft drive chain is stretched too much, the chain starts to "rattle" when the engine is running.
Replacing the front crankshaft oil seal
The front oil seal must be replaced if oil leaks through the edge of the oil seal.
We remove the oil separator to flush the crankcase ventilation system. As a result of operation, resinous deposits from crankcase gases accumulate in the hoses and parts of the system.
