We remove the oil separator to flush the crankcase ventilation system. As a result of operation, resinous deposits from crankcase gases accumulate in the hoses and parts of the system.
These deposits make it difficult for gases to pass into the engine cylinders for combustion.
Because of this, the gas pressure inside the engine increases and oil leaks through the engine seals.
It is necessary to periodically flush the system.
It is advisable to do this when changing the oil in the engine lubrication system.
We take out the oil level indicator from the guide tube.
Using pliers, loosen the clamps securing the two crankcase ventilation hoses.
Remove the hoses from the oil separator cover pipes.
Using a screwdriver, disconnect the bracket securing the plastic holder of the oil supply tube to the hydraulic tensioner of the camshaft drive chain from the guide tube
Remove the bracket
Using a 13 mm open-end wrench, unscrew the cap nut securing the cover.
Remove the copper sealing washer.
Remove the oil separator cover.
Remove the cover gasket.
Screw two M8 nuts, lock them and unscrew the stud
