Main gear of KamAZ vehicle
The main gear serves to increase torque on the drive wheels and transmit it from the driveshaft to the axle shafts at a right angle.
The pressure regulator automatically maintains the pressure in the pneumatic brake drive system within the range of 620-750 kPa, protects the pneumatic system from exceeding the maximum pressure (1000-1350 kPa) and protects the pneumatic system from contamination.
The double safety valve (Fig. 1) is designed to divide the supply line into two autonomous circuits (auxiliary and parking brake) and automatically turn off the damaged circuit in order to maintain the required pressure in the healthy circuit.
