KAMAZ gearbox switching mechanism
The gear shift mechanism (Fig. a) is assembled in the top cover 2 of the gearbox housing and consists of three gear shift rods, gear shift forks 3, 5, 6, a locking mechanism, three rod position clamps,

The car frame is stamped, riveted, consists of two channel-section spars, variable in length, connected by cross members
The power take-off with an oil pump is designed to take power from the gearbox and is attached to its crankcase on the right side
The parking brake control valve is used to control the spring energy accumulators of the parking and spare brake drive (Fig. 1, a - c)
The pressure limiting valve serves to reduce the air pressure in the brake chambers of the front axle during low-intensity braking, which improves stability and controllability (especially on slippery roads), as well as to quickly release air from the brake chambers when releasing the brakes
The oil pump (Fig. 1) is two-section, gear type, has a drive gear ratio of 1.075 from the crankshaft nose gear, attached to the lower plane of the crankcase
