The first maintenance of injectors is carried out after 250 hours of operation from the start of engine operation

To compensate for the thermal expansion of the valve, a gap is set between the end of the valve stem and the camshaft cam.

We replace the timing belt every 75,000 km or if it shows signs of wear and undercutting of teeth, cracks, delamination of rubber and fabric base

Remove the cylinder head cover (see “Adjusting thermal clearances in the engine valve mechanism”).

Usually, the oil deflector caps are changed when there is an increased oil consumption, accompanied by a large emission of smoke from the muffler

The cylinder head is usually removed to replace its gasket, valves, valve guides, head repair, as well as for complete engine repair

We remove the oil receiver during engine repairs or when the oil receiver screen is clogged and the engine is starved of oil

After dismantling, we install the engine on a stand for disassembly
Remove the generator, cylinder head, flywheel, oil filter

To check and remove the idle air control (IAC), you need to remove the throttle assembly completely (see “Removing the throttle assembly”) or partially

Remove the engine screen. Disconnect the engine management system wiring harness connectors from the throttle position sensor and idle air control (see “Replacing the idle air control”)
