Removing and checking the thermostat

When checking the thermostat on a car after starting a cold engine, the lower hose leading from the radiator should remain cold for some time

Remove the cylinder head cover

Mass air flow sensor - thermopneumatic type IVKSH 407282000, installed in the intake system after the air filter

The cylinder head gasket is replaced if it is damaged

Check the camshaft and crankshaft sprocket, tensioner pulley and roller for wear and damage
