Remove the engine screen. Disconnect the engine management system wiring harness connectors from the throttle position sensor and idle air control (see “Replacing the idle air control”)
Disconnect the throttle drive cable from the assembly sector.
Partially drain the engine coolant to the level of the throttle body heating unit.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the clamp securing the air supply hose to the throttle body pipe and the clamp securing the hose of the main crankcase ventilation circuit to the fitting of the cylinder head cover.
Remove the air supply hose from the throttle body pipe and the hose of the main crankcase ventilation circuit from the fitting of the cylinder head cover.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the clamp securing the hose of the additional crankcase ventilation circuit.
Remove the hose from the throttle body fitting.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the clamps securing the coolant inlet and outlet hoses
Remove the hoses from the throttle body fittings
Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the clamp securing the adsorber purge hose.
Remove the hose from the throttle body fitting.
Using a 13mm socket, unscrew the two nuts securing the throttle assembly to the receiver
Remove the throttle assembly from the receiver studs (a gasket is installed in the groove of the receiver flange)
If the gasket has lost elasticity or is damaged, it must be replaced with a new one.
Install the throttle assembly in the reverse order (nut tightening torque 15-20 Nm). Add coolant.
