We remove the carburetor for repair or replacement

Remove the air filter.

Removing the carburetor from the engine

Unscrew screw 6 securing rod 2 to the air damper drive lever, unscrew screw 1 securing rod to the bracket and disconnect the rod from the carburetor.

Unscrew nut 7 securing the accelerator cable to the throttle valve drive sector, move the oil seal 5, unscrew nut 4 and remove rod 3 from the bracket and throttle valve drive sector.

Having loosened the clamps, remove the fuel supply hoses 2 and drain 3 from the carburetor fittings, hose 1 of the crankcase ventilation system, the vacuum hose for controlling the forced idle economizer (EPHH) on the back of the carburetor and hose 5 to the electromagnetic valve of the EPHH system, to the vacuum - ignition distributor corrector 7 and to the exhaust gas recirculation thermal switch

Disconnect wires 6 from the microswitch of the EPHH system. 4.

Unscrew the four nuts 1 securing the carburetor to the intake pipe, remove the cable holder 2 and dismantle the carburetor.

Use a screwdriver to loosen the clamp and remove the corrugated air intake hose.

Use a screwdriver to bend the antennae of the lock washers, and use a 10mm wrench to unscrew the three nuts

Disconnect the hose of the vacuum ignition timing regulator

Disconnect the second hose of the EPHH system valve.

Disconnect the crankcase gas exhaust hose.

Hold the nut with a size 8 wrench and use a size 7 wrench to unscrew the bolt 1-2 turns

Then use a screwdriver to loosen the holder screw and remove the air damper drive rod.

Using a 10mm wrench, unscrew the nut 1-2 turns and remove the cable from the throttle valve drive clamp.

Use a 13mm wrench to unscrew the four carburetor mounting nuts.

Remove the bracket with the throttle valve drive rod.

Two insulating gaskets are installed under it.

Install the carburetor in reverse order, connecting the hoses to it according to the diagram.

Connect the damper control rods and adjust them.

The air damper should be in a vertical position when the draft handle is recessed, and should be completely closed when the handle is pulled out.

The throttle valve drive cable should not limit their travel, sag excessively or bend sharply.

We adjust its tension with two nuts securing the tip of the shell to the bracket.
