KAMAZ trailer brake control valve
The trailer brake control valve with a two-wire drive is designed to actuate the brake drive of a trailer (semi-trailer) when any of the separate drive circuits of the service brake system of the tractor are turned on, as well as when the spring energy accumulators of the drive of the spare and parking brake systems of the tractor are turned on.

Synchronizer for fourth and fifth gears of KamAZ vehicle gearbox
The synchronizer for the fourth and fifth gears (Fig. 1) consists of a synchronizer carriage 2, two friction rings 1 and 4, eight locking pins 3 and eight clamps consisting of springs 6 and clamps 5.

KAMAZ vehicles and road trains are equipped with four autonomous braking systems: service, spare, parking and auxiliary

Ten-speed Kamaz gearbox
Ten-speed gearbox. It consists of a main five-speed gearbox and a front attached gearbox - a gear divider, due to which it has ten gears for moving forward and two gears for moving backward

KAMAZ power steering pump
The power steering pump with an oil reservoir is installed in the camber of the cylinder block and is driven by the engine crankshaft

The starter is a sealed series-excited DC electric motor with an electromagnetic traction relay and a drive with a freewheel ratchet mechanism

Input shaft 13 is mounted on two ball bearings.
The front bearing of the input shaft with a cuff is located in the crankshaft socket, the rear bearing is located in the bore of the front end of the gearbox housing

To increase the liter power in the KamAZ-7403.10 engine, supercharging is used, i.e. air is supplied to the cylinders using a compressor under pressure 1.5-1.9 times higher than atmospheric

The brake chamber with a spring energy accumulator type 20/20 is designed to activate the brake mechanisms of the wheels of the rear truck of the vehicle when the service, spare and parking brake systems are engaged.

KAMAZ gearbox - maintenance
Maintenance of gearboxes includes periodic checking of their tightness; tightening the fastening of the support support to the ten-speed gearbox and the car frame

The master cylinder is mounted on the clutch pedal bracket.
In the housing 3 of the main cylinder there are cylindrical “A” and compensation “C” cavities in which the working fluid is located.

Design and operation of Kamaz auxiliary brake devices
The auxiliary brake (sometimes called the engine retarder brake) serves to reduce the load and temperature of the service brake brake mechanisms.

The towbar is designed for towing trailers, double-acting, and allows you to soften axial shocks that occur during movement in both directions

KAMAZ power steering control valve
The power steering control valve (Fig. 2.) is attached to the bevel gear housing
