How to remove the throttle body of the K7M engine

Install and prepare the car for work

Remove the negative battery terminal.

Remove the air filter housing (see the article - "Replacing the air filter")

Removing the throttle pipe of the K7M engine: 1 - ball end of the throttle pipe drive; 2 - wiring block to the throttle position sensor; 3 - throttle pipe; 4 - idle speed control

Using a screwdriver, disconnect the ball joint 1, the throttle pipe drive.

Disconnect the block 2 of wires from the throttle position sensor.

Disconnect the block of wires from the idle speed control 4.

Using a screwdriver with a Torx T30 bit, unscrew the mounting bolt and remove the throttle pipe housing retainer.

Remove the throttle pipe housing 3 by tilting it.

Installing the throttle pipe

Install the throttle pipe 3.

Install the throttle pipe housing retainer and tighten the mounting bolt. Bolt tightening torque 15 Nm (1.5 kgf.m) (Torx T30 screwdriver, Torx T30 replaceable nozzle, extension, torque wrench).

Connect the wiring block to the idle speed controller 4.

Connect the wiring block 2 to the throttle position sensor.

Using pliers, connect the ball tip 1, throttle actuator.

Install the air filter housing.

Connect the battery ground wire terminal.
