Preparing the car for work. Disconnecting the negative terminal from the battery

Removing the intake silencer.

Removing the air filter housing, article - "How to remove the silencer and air filter"

Removing the throttle pipe

Removing the intake manifold of the K4M engine: 1 - throttle drive cable; 2 - wiring harness block to the ignition coils; 3 - connector of the wiring harness to the air temperature sensor; 4 - connector of the wiring harness to the incoming air sensor; 5 - intake manifold

Disconnect cable 1 (Figure 1) of the throttle actuator from intake manifold 5.

Disconnect pads 2 from the ignition coils.

Disconnect pad 3 from the engine temperature sensor.

Disconnect pad 4 from the incoming air pressure sensor

Removing the intake manifold of the K4M engine: 1-7 - mounting bolts intake manifold

Using an 8 mm socket, unscrew the seven bolts (Figure 2) and remove the intake manifold assembly with the air temperature sensor and the inlet air pressure sensor.

Installation

All gaskets must be replaced.

Before installing the intake manifold, install a new gasket on the intake manifold.

Install the intake manifold on the vehicle.

Install and tighten the mounting bolts in the order shown in Figure 2.

The tightening torque of the bolts is 9 Nm (0.9 kgf.m) (replaceable 8 mm socket, extension, ratchet, torque wrench).

Connect block 4, Figure 1, to the inlet air pressure sensor.

Connect block 3 to the air temperature sensor.

Connect pads 2 to the ignition coils.

Connect cable 1 of the throttle actuator to intake manifold 5.

Install the throttle pipe, air filter housing and intake noise muffler.

Using a 10 key, connect the negative terminal to the battery.
