Installing the diesel support and crankshaft pulley D-245

Engine support

The crankshaft pulley should be wiped with a clean napkin.

Installing the pulley on the crankshaft: 1 - bolt; 5 - pulley; 7 - oil pump drive gear; 8 - drive gear; 9 - key; 10 - crankshaft

The seating and working surfaces of the support and crankshaft pulley must be free of nicks and burrs.

Assembly of the D-245 diesel engine: 1 - support; 2 - rubber support cushion; 3 - gear cover; 4 - shield; 5 - cylinder block; 6 - cylinder liner; 7 - rear sheet

The crankshaft pulley mounting bolt must be tightened to a torque of 240-280 Nm.
