ZIL-5301 Fuses and Their Purpose

Disconnect the battery when repairing the electrical system.

Do not use fuses of increased "nominal" or homemade ones - this can lead to failure of the electrical consumer, and possibly a fire.

  • 1 - headlights (high beam), high beam indicator;
  • 2 headlights (low beam);
  • 3 - fog lamp, fog lamp switch;
  • 4 - horn, underhood lamp, cabin lamp, portable lamp socket;
  • 5 - glow plug and control unit of the starting preheater;
  • 6 - circuit of the critical coolant level indicator in the engine cooling system (fuse for 2A);
  • 7 and 11 - lamps of the interior lighting of the bus (fuse for 10A);
  • 8 - circuit of the starting preheater;
  • 9 - battery charging circuit;
  • 10 — brake lights; tail light; portable lamp socket;
  • 12 — 3IL-5301ss van consumers (10 A) or bus interior consumers (15 A);
  • 13 - battery remote switch button, cabin heater;
  • 14 - rear-view mirror switch and heater;
  • 15 - fuse box: reversing light, parking brake indicator switch, oil pressure emergency drop indicator, instrument cluster, tachometer, buzzer; critical coolant level indicator in the engine cooling system;
  • 16 - fuse box: tail lights, front light, instrument lighting dimmer;
  • 17 and 18 - hazard warning light switch (6 A and 10 A fuses, respectively)
