The electric start system includes batteries, a starter, a battery mass switch, a lock-switch for instruments and a starter, an electric torch device (EFU), a vapor-liquid heater (PZhD), intermediate relays
For repair, the starter is removed from the engine by unscrewing the bolts of the clamps
Disassembly of the starter should be done in the following order:
The switch type VK 860B is designed to connect batteries to the vehicle ground and disconnect them
The design of the switch is shown in fig. 1.
An electric torch heater (EFU) is used to facilitate starting the engine at ambient temperatures below -5 ˚s to -25 ˚s.

When the switch handle 8 is turned to position 1, the electric motor 5 of the pumping unit and the fuel solenoid valve 3 are switched on
