Preparing the car for work
Work is performed on an inspection pit or on a lift
Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Remove the engine protection.
Remove the front bumper.
If the car has a power steering, then remove the reservoir 1 (Figure 1), the power steering pump from the bracket and tie it to the engine.
Using a screwdriver with a TorxT30 bit, unscrew the two screws 2 and remove the bracket 3 for mounting the power steering pump reservoir.
Remove the clamps of the inlet and outlet hoses of the engine cooling system radiator.
Disconnect the radiator hoses.
If the car has air conditioning, use a screwdriver with a TorxT30 bit to unscrew the air deflector mounting screws.
Remove the air deflector 1 (Figure 2).
Disconnect the wiring harness from the holder on the electric fan.
Disconnect the air conditioner pipe from the holder on the electric fan.
Using a flat-head screwdriver, disconnect the condenser 2 (Figure 3) of the air conditioner from the engine cooling system radiator.
Attach the air conditioner condenser to the upper crossbar
Remove the electric fan of the cooling system.
Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew bolts 1 (Figure 4) securing the radiator bracket to the car body.
Remove brackets 2 for mounting the radiator.
Remove radiator 1 (Figure 5), cooling system from the mount on the front suspension subframe and remove the radiator
Installing the radiator of the engine cooling system
Install the engine radiator in the lower mounts on the front suspension subframe.
Install brackets 2 (Figure 4), radiator mounts on the radiator of the cooling system.
Using a 10 head, install and tighten bolts 1 for fastening the radiator bracket to the body.
Tightening torque of the bolts for fastening the radiator brackets is 8 Nm (0.8 kgf.m).
Install the electric fan of the engine cooling system.
Connect the hoses for draining and supplying liquid.
Install new clamps on hoses.
If the car has air conditioning, then install the condenser on the engine radiator.
Install the air deflector 1 (Figure 2), and secure it with clamps to the car body.
Secure the power steering pipeline in the holder on the electric fan.
Connect the air conditioning pipeline to the holder on the electric fan.
If the car has power steering, then install bracket 3, (Figure 1), and secure it with two screws.
Install the power steering pump reservoir.
Fill the cooling system.
Install the engine guard.
Install the bumper.
Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
