The LADA GRANTA is a five-seat passenger car with a front-engine, front-wheel drive, and an all-metal welded body.
The car meets modern passive safety requirements. The front and rear bumpers are made of impact-resistant material to absorb impact energy in a collision. The B-pillars, roof, and sills are reinforced. All doors are equipped with metal crossbars to improve side impact resistance.
All trim levels except the Standard are equipped with electric power steering with a height-adjustable steering column. For added convenience and safety, a wide range of options is available: a front passenger airbag, seatbelt pretensioners, ABS, fog lights, alloy wheels, power windows, and heated front seats.
Usually the bracket and brace are changed after they are deformed as a result of shock loads that occur during emergency situations or during operation on bad roads

Checking the effectiveness of the brake system
In accordance with clause 1.1 of the “List of faults and conditions under which the operation of vehicles is prohibited”, the braking distance of a car when pressing the brake pedal once from a speed of 40 km/h should be no more than 12.2 meters
To check the condition of the suspension ball joint, remove the wheel and measure the distance “A” between the lower arm 29 and the brake disc 9
Depending on the configuration, Lada Kalina, Lada Priora, Lada Granta cars are equipped with engines of different modifications
