The durability of a repaired engine largely depends on its running-in on a stand and the operating mode of the car during the first 1000 km

Periodically check the condition of springs, suspension springs and shock absorbers, their fastening and eliminate any identified faults

Restore the required clearances in the camshaft bushings by grinding the shaft bearing journals, reducing their size by no more than 0.75 mm, and replacing worn bushings with semi-finished ones, followed by boring them to the size of the ground journals.
