Disconnect the negative cable from the battery
To remove the separator, two-way valve of the gas tank, safety and gravity valves, remove the right side trim.
Before removing the elements, mark the fittings and hoses.
With a Phillips screwdriver unscrew the two screws securing the gravity valve
We remove it from the window of the right side panel of the body.
We loosen the clamps with a Phillips screwdriver.
After removing the hoses, we release the gravity valve.
Disconnect the hoses, take out the two-way valve.
Pull the safety valve out of the sidewall cavity
Loosen the hose clamps
Remove the valve.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the two screws securing the separator to the body
Move the separator to the window in the panel and loosen the tank ventilation hose clamps with a Phillips screwdriver
After removing the hoses from the separator fittings, we take it out through the rear (largest) panel window.
To remove the adsorber, disconnect the electric connector.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the clamp securing the hose connecting the adsorber to the throttle assembly fitting.
Remove the hose.
Similarly, disconnect the hose connecting the adsorber to the two-way valve
Using a 10 mm spanner, loosen the bolt that holds the clamp securing the canister to the mudguard
Remove the canister from the engine compartment
Install the fuel vapor recovery system components in the reverse order.
