There should be a minimum amount of fuel in the tank
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
Remove the fuel tank compartment cover
Remove the right side trim.
Disconnect the electric fuel pump from the wiring harness and pipes.
Unscrew and remove the fuel tank cap.
Loosen the clamp with a Phillips screwdriver
Remove the plastic tank ventilation hose from the right fitting.
Similarly, disconnect the tank ventilation hose from the left fitting.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the clamp of the fuel tank hose and filler pipe
Remove the hose from the tank nipple
Use pliers to loosen the clamp of the filler pipe hose
Remove the filler pipe with hoses and a rubber sealing ring.
Using a 13 mm head, unscrew the two bolts securing the rear fuel tank mount.
Using a 13 mm head, unscrew the two bolts securing the front tank mount to the crossmember.
Sliding back, we take out the fuel tank
Before installing the tank, we attach the plastic tank ventilation hoses to the upper part of the crossbar with adhesive tape so that the tank does not crush the hoses.
