To improve the appearance of the engine compartment and to reduce engine noise, a decorative plastic cover is installed
When performing most engine repair and maintenance work, this cover must be removed.
The decorative cover installed on the car is secured with four rubber clips.
To remove the cover, use a screwdriver to pry the edge of the retainer cap and remove the retainer from the hole in the cover, removing it from the bracket stud.
In the same way, remove the other three fasteners and remove the decorative cover.
You can remove the decorative cover without first removing the fasteners by pulling up on the edges of the cover.
To reinstall the cover, you will first have to remove the fasteners from its holes.
Install the decorative cover in the reverse order of removal
