The oil pan protection panel, made of thick sheet steel, serves to protect the crankcase from damage when the front of the car hits road obstacles.

The engine compartment mudguard located underneath it protects the engine compartment from contamination and is not a power protection for the engine crankcase.

It is necessary to remove the oil pan protection and engine compartment mudguard to provide access to the units and assemblies from underneath the car when maintenance.

You will need keys "8" and "10" and 13.

Using a 13 key, unscrew the four bolts securing the oil pan guard

To remove the rear mudguard, use a 10 mm head to unscrew the two rear mudguard mounting nuts

Using an 8 mm socket, unscrew the two front mud guard mounting bolts

Remove the splash guard

To remove the front splash guard, remove the engine oil pan guard as described above

Using an 8 mm socket, unscrew the five screws and remove the front mudguard

Install the guard and mudguards in reverse order
