Prepare the car for work.

Place the car on a lift or inspection pit, as you will have to remove the front bumper.

Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Remove the front bumper (article - "Removing and installing bumpers").

Upper headlight mount: 1 - bolt; 2 - headlight
Side mount of headlight: 1 - bolt; 2 - guide; 3 - headlight

Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the four bolts 1, Figures 1 and 2, securing the headlight and disconnect the headlight from the car body.

Harness connectors to the headlight: 1 - harness connector to the headlight corrector; 2 - harness connector to the incandescent lamps; 3 - headlight

Disconnect connectors 1 and 2, Figure 3, of the wiring harness from headlight 3 and remove the headlight.

Installation:

Installation of the headlight is performed in the reverse order of removal.

When installing, ensure that the gaps between the headlight and the mating parts are uniform.

Tightening torque of bolts 1, Figures 1 and 2, for fastening the headlight is 3-5 Nm (0.3-0.5 kgf.m).

Install the front bumper.

Adjust the direction of the headlight beam.

Replacing the bulbs

The headlight bulbs are replaced from the engine compartment side without removing the headlight with car.

To replace the high beam lamp, you need to:

Location of lamps in the headlight: 1 - high beam lamp cover; 2 - low beam lamp cover; 3 - turn signal lamp socket; 4 - daytime running light and parking light bulb socket

- remove cover 1, figure 4, by turning it counterclockwise;

Replacing bulbs in the headlamp: 1 - low beam bulb; 2 - low beam bulb wiring harness connector; 3 - low beam bulb mounting spring clip; 4 - high beam bulb; 5 - high beam bulb wiring harness connector; 6 - high beam lamp fastening spring clip
  • - disconnect connector 5, Figure 5, of the wire harness from lamp 4;
  • - remove the antennae of the spring clip 6 from the grooves;
  • - remove the lamp.

To replace the low beam lamp, you must:

  • - remove cover 2, Figure 4, by turning it counterclockwise;
  • - disconnect connector 2, Figure 5, of the wires from lamp 1;
  • - remove the antennae of the spring clip 3 from the grooves;
  • - remove the lamp.

To replace the turn signal lamp, you must:

  • - turn the socket 3, Figure 4, counterclockwise and remove it from the seat assembled with the lamp;
  • - remove the lamp from the socket by turning it counterclockwise.

To replace the daytime running light and parking light bulb, you must:

  • - turn the socket 4 counterclockwise and remove it from the seat assembled with the lamp;
  • - remove the lamp from the socket.

Install new lamps in the headlight in the reverse order of removal. The type of the installed lamp must correspond to the table.

Headlight:

  • - high beam lamp H1;
  • - low beam lamp H7;
  • - turn signal lamp PY21W;
  • - DRL and parking light lamp W21/5W

Fog lights

Remove the front wheel.

Raise the car to a height convenient for performing the work.

Remove the front fender shield.

Installing the fog lamp: 1 - connector of the wiring harness to the fog lamp; 2 - fog lamp; 3 - screw; 4 - front bumper

Disconnect connector 1, figure 6, of the wiring harness from the fog lamp 2.

Using an 8 mm socket, unscrew the two screws 3 self-tapping fastenings of the fog lamp to the front bumper 4 and remove the lamp 2 against fogged.

Installation

Install the fog lamp 2, Fig. 6, in the reverse order of removal.

Tightening torque of screws 3 for fastening the fog lamp 2 to the front bumper 4 is 1.5…2.5 Nm (0.15…0.25 kgf.m).

To replace the fog lamp bulb, do the following:

  • - turn the front wheel as far inward as possible to access the front fender shield hatch cover;
  • - turn clockwise and remove the front fender shield hatch cover;
  • - turn the bulb counterclockwise and remove it from the front fender shield hatch;
  • - disconnect connector 1, Fig. 6, of the harness wires from the lamp and replace the lamp.

Install a new lamp in the fog lamp in the reverse order of removal.

The type of lamp to be installed is H11.

Adjust the direction of the light beam of the fog lamps.

Side turn signal

Side turn signal: 1 - side turn signal; 2 - rear view mirror

Side turn signal 1, figure 7, is installed in rear view mirror 2.

Light emitting diodes are used as light sources for the side turn signal.

If the light sources for the side turn signal fail, the rear view mirror is replaced completely.
