Remove the springs if they break, sag, replace the spring gaskets, remove the beam and remove the exhaust system (you have to remove the left spring)
To remove the springs, prepare the car and install it on an inspection pit or lift.
When replacing the springs, they must be replaced in pairs, because they will already differ in elasticity.
Unscrew the bolt of the lower shock absorber mount to the rear suspension beam arm.
We hang up the rear part of the car and securely fix it on factory-made stands.
Having compressed the coils of the spring with two clamps, we remove it.
You can also remove the spring without using clamps. In this case, you may need an assistant.
Insert a piece of pipe or a tire iron into the beam arm hole.
Pull the pipe piece down, squeezing the beam arm, and take out the spring.
Remove the lower and upper spring pads.
The upper spring pad usually sticks to the body.
Make sure there are no deformations or breaks on gaskets.
Before installing the spring, install the upper gasket on it so that the end of the upper coil of the spring rests against the ledge of the gasket.
Then, to prevent the upper gasket from moving during installation of the spring, attach it to the spring with tape or insulating tape.
We install the lower spring gasket on the projection of the lever bracket so that the gasket pin enters the bracket hole (shown on the removed beam for clarity).
We mount the spring so that so that the end of its lower turn rests against the ledge of the gasket.
Having moved the beam lever down, we put the upper end of the spring with the gasket on the ledge of the body bracket.
We carry out further assembly of the rear suspension in the reverse order.
