It is designed to notify road users about the intentions of the driver, as well as to monitor the technical condition of units, systems and the car itself
The light signaling system includes emergency light signaling, brake signaling, direction indicators and indicator lamps for turning on the direction indicators of the car and trailer, indicator lamps for locking the center differential, parking brake, air pressure drops in the circuits of the pneumatic brake actuator, combined into blocks of control lamps , as well as the corresponding switches, circuit breakers and relays.
Switch 8 of the emergency light signaling ensures that all direction indicators are switched on simultaneously and operate in intermittent mode.
At the same time, the control lamp mounted in the switch handle lights up, and the control lamps of the direction indicators in the block of control lamps do not light up in the alarm mode.
The direction indicators are switched on by the combined switch 5 in the operating position of the instrument and starter switch.
Contact-transistor relay-breaker 3 provides intermittent operation of the direction indicators of the car and trailer. The operation of the indicators is signaled by lamps (separately for the car and trailer) in block 26.
When the car's brakes are applied, the contacts of the pneumoelectric switch 13 of the brake signals are closed, the intermediate relay 15 is activated and the rear lamps 11 and 12 light up.
The brake signal circuits are connected to the power supply circuit through an ammeter, bypassing the instrument and starter switch.
When the parking brake is applied, the contacts of the switch 20, installed in circuit III of the pneumatic brake actuator, are closed, and the parking brake warning lamp turns on.
A breaker relay 21 is installed in the power supply circuit of the parking brake indicator lamp, as a result of which the lamp lights up with intermittent light.
At the same time, through the intermediate relay 15, the circuits of the brake signal lamps of the rear lights are closed.
