The clutch housing is steel, attached to the flywheel with bolts. The pressure plate is made of grey cast iron and is attached to the casing with four pairs of spring plates that transmit torque from the casing to the pressure plate.

There are two pistons in the ZIL-5301 wheel cylinder housing, which are expanded by a spring with support cups.
The same spring presses the seals (cuffs) to the end of the pistons.
