Remove the sensors for inspection or replacement
You will need: a 10 mm spanner, a screwdriver, a hammer, and a punch
Remove the gear selector mechanism (see "Repairing the VAZ-2123 gearbox")
You will need: a glass gluing kit, a steel string, a sharp knife
For grinding the valves, it is most convenient to use a special mechanical device (reversible drill)
To grind the valves with a drill, you need to select a piece of rubber hose that holds the valve tightly
Signs of a throttle valve that does not close completely may include increased idle speed and fuel consumption
You will need: wrenches "10", "13", "14", "17", "19", "21", "22", "36" (or a special wrench for the crankshaft pulley fastening nut, if you don't have such a wrench, you can use a gas wrench), socket heads "12" and "13" (or a special wrench for the cylinder head fastening bolts), screwdriver, hammer, oil filter remover.
