Remove the sensors for inspection or replacement
Replacing the sensor of the emergency oil pressure drop warning light
The sensor of the emergency oil pressure drop warning light is installed in the adapter screwed into the oil line of the cylinder block on the left side.
You will need: keys "for 21", "for 22".
Remove the protective cover from the sensor and disconnect it from it wire
Holding the adapter with a wrench, unscrew the sensor.
Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal.
Replacing the coolant temperature gauge sensor
The coolant temperature gauge sensor is screwed into the cylinder head hole on the left side.
You will need a 21 mm wrench.
Remove the protective cover and disconnect the wire from the sensor.
Loosen the sensor and unscrew the sensor from the cylinder head.
Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal
For better sealing, lubricate the sensor threads with a thin layer of sealant.
Replacing the reverse light switch
The reverse light switch is installed on the rear cover of the gearbox.
You will need a 22 mm wrench.
Disconnect the wiring harness block from the sensor and unscrew the sensor with a 22 key
Do not lose the copper sealing ring installed under the sensor.
When replacing the sensor, transfer this ring to the new sensor.
Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal.
Replacing the brake light switch
The brake light switch is located under the instrument panel on the pedal assembly bracket.
You will need a 22 key.
Disconnect the wire connectors from the sensor.
Loosen the locking nut and unscrew the sensor from the pedal block bracket
Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal.
After installation, adjust the position of the sensor by screwing it in or out of the bracket so that the brake lights in the rear lights come on when the brake pedal is moved by about 0.5 cm.
Remember to tighten the sensor lock nut.
Replacing the Parking Brake Indicator Light Switch
The Parking Brake Indicator Light Switch is installed asd the floor tunnel trim in the area of the parking brake lever.
You will need a screwdriver.
Remove the floor tunnel trim.
Remove the screw securing the switch to the parking brake lever bracket
Remove the switch and disconnect the wiring harness connector from it
Install the switch and floor tunnel trim in the reverse order of removal
