Removing and disassembling the GAZ-3110 windshield wiper
Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
Raise the caps. Unscrew not completely (so as not to spoil the threads on the rollers) the nuts securing the windshield wiper arms.
Using pliers, pull both windshield wiper arms off the splines of the rollers of the windshield wiper mechanism and, finally unscrewing the nuts, remove the arms.
Unscrew the four bolts securing the lower front panel.
Lift the front of the lower front panel and slide the panel forward, disengaging the grooves from the mounting studs.
Disconnect block 1 with wires from the holder and disconnect it.
Disconnect the washer hose from the tee.
Remove the lower front panel together with the windshield wiper assembly.
Unscrew two bolts 1 fastening the windshield wiper arm shafts on both sides, four bolts 2 fastening the windshield wiper bracket and remove the windshield wiper assembly.
Unscrew nut 1 and remove driver 2 from the gearbox shaft
Unscrew three screws 1, two screws 2 and remove the electric motor with gearbox from the bracket
Assemble the windshield wiper in the reverse order of disassembly.
Secure the nut securing the driver on the gearbox shaft with paint.
Install the windshield wiper in the reverse order of removal.
Install the windshield wiper arms so that the blades at rest are at a distance of 10–15 mm from the lower seal.
