It is more convenient to remove the front buffer if the car is raised on a lift or installed above an inspection ditch

If the car is on the ground, you need to turn the wheels so that it is easier to get to the side buffer mount.

Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

Disconnect the connectors for the fog lights in the engine compartment and pull the wires together with the rubber bushings out through the holes in the body.

Using a 12mm socket, unscrew the two bolts for the side mounting of the bumper

Using a 17 wrench, unscrew the two bolts of its front fastening. All of them are located under the front wings.

Remove the bumper by pulling it towards you.

In case of replacing the bumper brackets, unscrew the four bolts securing them with a 12mm head (two for each bracket)

Install the bumper in reverse order.

Before unscrewing the nuts and bolts, it is advisable to clean the fastening surfaces with a metal brush and coat them with a penetrating liquid (kerosene or brake fluid or WD-40).
