Replace the solenoid or check if reverse gear does not engage

Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

Drain the oil from the gearbox.

To unscrew the solenoid, first use a 13 key to unscrew the reverse gear fork lock plug.

Remove the clamp spring. The locking ball does not need to be removed from the socket.

Having released the block clamp, disconnect the wire block from the solenoid

Use a 36 key to unscrew the solenoid

And remove the solenoid

To check the functionality of the solenoid, connect wires to its terminals

If the solenoid core retracts when the wires are connected to the battery terminals, then the solenoid is working.

Before wrapping the solenoid, apply silicone sealant to its threaded part.

Install the reverse gear lock solenoid in reverse order.
