Install the rubber ring from the repair kit onto the connecting fitting

Of course, it is better to cut a ring from a piece of leather using a die cutter (a reliable old-fashioned method that reduces the possibility of leaks in this connection)

We install a paranitic gasket on the flange of the inlet pipe

Install the filter spacer on the intake manifold and attach the connecting fitting without tightening

Connect the oil drain pipe to the filter spacer, then tighten the connecting fitting

Lubricate the O-ring with engine oil

Install the filter itself and tighten it by hand until the gasket begins to compress and turn it 0.5±1 turn.

When installing gaskets, lubricate with a thin layer of engine oil

Do not unscrew or tighten the nipple nuts of the filter tubes together with the adapter fitting. In this case, it is necessary to first fix the fitting with a key

The filter element must be replaced immediately when a characteristic whistle appears from the operation of the bypass valve in the spacer when the engine is running

You cannot use filter elements from a Kamaz vehicle, since due to their high height they rest against the upper part of the filter housing and do not allow oil to pass through

new

After disassembling, thoroughly rinse all gearbox parts in kerosene, blow with compressed air and inspect

Possible pump malfunctions may include: leakage of the diaphragm and valves, decreased elasticity or breakage of the diaphragm spring, wear of pump drive parts
