Remove the rear axle gearbox (see the article – Removing the rear axle gearbox)

Install the gearbox on the workbench

Disconnect the intermediate shaft from the flange of the transfer case input shaft

Drain the oil from the transfer case and clean it from dirt.

First of all, note at what speed the vibration of the transfer case occurs, then proceed to determine the causes of the vibration

Drain the liquid from the cooling system with the heater tap open (see Replacing the coolant)

Remove the hoses from the heater pipes and the seal (see Removing the heater valve).
