If the oil leak from under the cylinder head cover could not be eliminated by tightening the cover mounting nuts, replace its gasket
You will need: a wrench (regular and socket or head) "10", pliers, a screwdriver.
Remove the decorative engine cover (see "How to remove the decorative engine cover Niva Chevrolet").
Loosen the clamps securing the left part of the air inlet pipe to the mass air flow sensor and to the intermediate bracket and remove this part of the pipe.
Remove the intermediate bracket mounting bolt.
Loosen the clamp securing the small branch hose of the crankcase ventilation system and remove the hose from the throttle assembly pipe.
Loosen the clamp securing the right part of the air supply pipe to the throttle assembly
Disconnect the pipe from the throttle assembly and move it to the side together with crankcase ventilation hoses and intermediate bracket.
Loosen the clamp securing the brake booster hose and remove it from the intake pipe branch.
Squeeze the end of the plastic holder with a screwdriver or pliers, disconnect the throttle cable holder
Squeeze the end of the plastic holder with a screwdriver or pliers, disconnect the brake booster hose holder
Unscrew the two nuts securing the front bracket of the decorative cover
Remove the bracket.
Please note: spring washers are installed under the nuts - do not lose them.
Remove from the stud the wire harness holder together with the harness.
Unscrew the nut securing the rear left bracket of the decorative cover and remove the bracket.
Do not lose the rubber gasket installed on the bracket stud
Remove the throttle cable mounting bracket and brake booster hose from the stud on the left
Remove the throttle cable mounting bracket from the stud on the right
Unscrew the remaining nuts securing the cylinder head cover
Remove the spring washers, hose retainer bracket and reinforcing plates from the studs
Remove the cylinder head cover
Remove the valve cover gasket
Install the new gasket and all removed parts in the reverse order removal.
Tighten the cover in the sequence shown in the figure.
