The Gazelle family of trucks, cargo-passenger vehicles, and passenger buses (buses) are two-axle vehicles with dual rear wheels, a frame structure, and a semi-bonneted cab. The engine is located longitudinally in the front of the cab. Drive is to the rear wheels or (in the 4x4 version) to all four wheels.
It is recommended to disassemble the engine in the following order:
- Removal and installation of the ZMZ-402 GAZ-2705 engine
- Flushing the valves of the GAZ-2705 hydraulic booster pump
