You need to remove the hood with an assistant.

If you are going to install the old hood, before removing it, mark the position of the hood hinges on the body by tracing them with a felt-tip pen to maintain the adjustment of the hood position.

Pull back the insulation and remove the rubber bushing of the wiring harness.

Insert the wiring harness connector into the hole in the hood reinforcement and remove the harness.

Disconnect the windshield washer feed tube from the tee and remove the tube.

If necessary, use a screwdriver to remove the wiring harness clamp.

Unscrew the four nuts securing the hood hinges to the body

Remove the hood

Install the hood in the reverse order of removal, using the marks applied before removal

Mark the position of the washers of the hood lock mounting bolts relative to the bracket so as not to disturb the adjustment of the lock

Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the two hood lock mounting bolts.

Having lifted the lock, straighten the end of the rod with pliers

Disconnect the rod from the lock lever

Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the bolt securing the traction control housing bracket

Using a screwdriver, push the sealing bushing out of the hole in the body

Remove the bushing from the rod casing.

Prying it off with a screwdriver, remove the plastic casing holder from the hole in the body.

Remove the holder from the casing.

After unscrewing the two screws, open the cover of the mounting block

Using a 13 key, unscrew the hood lock drive handle shaft.

Turning the handle on the end of the rod, we bring it out through the slot in the handle.
