Gazelle car front bumpers come in different types
Consider the dismantling of two types of bumpers
This is a bumper from a car produced before 2003 and a bumper from a car produced from 2003
The bumper and bumper amplifier of a car manufactured since 2003 are removed in the following order
Remove the two screws of the central bumper mounting.
Use a screwdriver to pry off the two plugs for the side mounting bolts of the bumper
Remove these plugs.
Remove the side bolt of the bumper. We also unscrew the side fastening bolt on the other side.
Unscrew two nuts on both sides of the lower bumper mount
Removing the front bumper
Remove the two bolts securing the bumper amplifier
Removing the bumper amplifier
The bumper and bumper amplifier manufactured before 2003 are removed in the following order
Use a 13mm wrench to unscrew the nut for the side fastening of the bumper
Remove two rubber washers and a spacer bushing from the bumper stud.
Using a screwdriver, remove two plastic plugs from the bumper.
Use a wrench or a 12mm socket to unscrew the three bumper mounting bolts.
Special washers are installed under the bolts. Remove the bumper from the car.
In order to remove amplifier “B” of the front bumper, remove two bolts “A” on both sides of its mounting
