We carry out the work on an inspection ditch or a lift.
To check the oil level in the gearbox (in the photo the vacuum booster has been removed for clarity)
Use the “8” key to unscrew the oil filler plug.
The plug has a tapered thread.
We check the oil level with a rod, inserting it all the way.
The oil level should be at a depth of 15 mm from the upper edge of the oil filler hole.
To change the oil in the gearbox, use a 13-mm spanner to unscrew the four bolts securing the bottom cover of the gearbox two or three turns
Sliding the bottom cover, drain the oil into a substitute container.
Tightening the cover bolts, pour 0.18 liters of transmission oil into the gearbox through the oil filler hole.
Tighten the oil filler plug.
