The VAZ-2123 car controller is usually located in the passenger compartment on the right side under the glove compartment
The mounting and design of the controller depends on its marking.
The controller with an electronic throttle pedal is slightly different from the controller that controls the throttle with a mechanical connection.
But the basic principle is the same.
To remove the controller, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the protective casing fastening nut
Removing the casing
Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the three nuts securing the relay and fuse box
Disconnect the assembly from the bracket
Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the two bracket mounting screws
Removing the controller assembly with the bracket
Take the retainer by the ledge
Pull out the retainer until it stops
After that, disconnect the wiring harness block from the controller
Location of relays and fuses in the block: 1 - additional relay (turns on the right electric fan through an additional resistor at low speed); 2 - fuse (50 A), protecting the power circuits of the additional relay and the right electric fan relay; 3 - fuse (15 A), protecting the power circuits of the electric fuel pump relay; 4 - fuse (15 A) protecting the constant power supply circuit of the controller; 5 - right electric fan relay; 6 - left electric fan relay; 7 - electric fuel pump relay; 8 - main relay; 9 - fuse (50 A) protecting the circuits of the left electric fan; 10 - fuse (15 A) protecting the power circuits switched on by the main relay; 11 - controller
