Cause of malfunction - Method of elimination

Wire wiper motor does not work

bimetallic fuse does not operate, and fuse F9 in the mounting block does not burn out

- Gearmotor power wires are damaged, wire tips in the junction blocks are oxidized

Check the wires, replace the damaged ones. Strip the tips

-Wire wiper switch is damaged

Replace the wiper switch in the steering column switch

- Electric motor brushes are stuck, the collector is heavily contaminated or burnt

Check, eliminate brush sticking or replace damaged parts; clean the collector

- Broken wire in the winding of the electric motor anchor

Replace the anchor or gear motor

The wiper motor does not work

The bimetallic fuse is triggered, or the F9 fuse in the mounting block burns out

- The wiper mechanism levers are deformed and touch the body parts

Replacement and repair of the windshield wiper is discussed in the article - "Replacement and repair of the windshield wiper"

Check, straighten the levers or replace the windshield wiper

- The brushes are frozen to the glass

Separate the brushes from the glass, avoiding damage to the rubber band
