The seals of the inner joints of the drives can be changed without removing the gearbox from the car
Disconnect the front wheel drives from the gearbox (described in the article - Front wheel drives Lada Priora)
You cannot remove both drives at the same time, since in this case the gears of the axle shafts may shift in the differential, and it will be impossible to install the drives without disassembling the gearbox.
If you need to remove both drives, then after disconnecting one of them, you need to insert a technological plug or the old housing of the inner joint.
After this, you can remove the second drive.
Using a screwdriver, remove the inner joint oil seal from the gearbox housing
Press in the new oil seal using a suitable mandrel until it stops with the working edge inside the gearbox
The oil scraper notches on the right and left inner joint seals are facing different directions
On the right seal "A" (part number 2110-231034-01), the arrow points counterclockwise.
On the left seal "B" (part number 2110-2301035-01), it points clockwise.
The arrows show the direction of rotation of the wheels when the vehicle is moving forward.
We install all the parts in the reverse order.
The gearbox input shaft seal can only be replaced after removing the gearbox.
Replacing the gearshift rod seal
Remove the mudguard from the hinge and slide it along the gearshift rod
Unscrew the hinge mounting bolt to the gearshift rod
And disconnect the gear selection rod together with the hinge from the rod
