The filter element in the ventilation and heating system should last for 30,000 km. But as experience shows, not in our conditions

If the filter is clogged, there will be poor airflow into the cabin. Insufficient heating of both the interior and the windshield.

There will be an increased load on the heater fan motor.

Therefore, you need to change the filter element more often or at least blow it out with compressed air from the reverse side.

The filter is located under the right windshield trim.

For work you will need a Phillips screwdriver, a rag and a TORX T-20 wrench.

Open the hood.

Using a TORX T-20 wrench, unscrew the five screws securing the right facing (Fig. 2)

Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the two screws securing the cover

Press the two latches on the sides of the filter element while simultaneously pulling out the filter

Remove the heating and ventilation filter

Before installing a new filter, clean the surface where the filter is installed.

You can use a vacuum cleaner.

At the same time, we clean the drainage hole on the side of the drainage box (Fig. 8).

Clean the drainage hole on the side of the right front wheel.

Install the filter in reverse order.

When installing the right windshield trim, the trim protrusions must extend beyond the front fender flange.
