Replacing the cylinder head cover gasket of the VAZ-21214 engine
Disconnect the fuel rail pipes, the throttle cable and the brake booster hose from the brackets attached to the cylinder head.
Remove the brake booster hose from the receiver nipple.
Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the air supply hose.

Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the eight nuts securing the cylinder head cover.

Remove the brake booster hose mounting bracket from the cylinder head studs

Removing the fuel rail feed pipe bracket from the cylinder head studs

Remove the fuel rail drain pipe bracket and throttle cable from the cylinder head studs.

Remove the cover pressure washers from the cylinder head studs.

Removing the cylinder head cover with the gasket.
Replacing the cylinder head cover gasket on the VAZ-21213 engine

Before removing the cylinder head cover, remove the air filter housing

Disconnect the air damper drive cable from the carburetor

Disconnect the fuel drain hose.

Disconnect the high-voltage wire from the coil ignition.

Disconnect the return spring of the carburetor throttle drive rods from the bracket secured to the cylinder head

Unscrew the cylinder head cover fastening nuts.

Remove the return spring mounting bracket from the cylinder head stud

We dismantle the cylinder head cover of the carburetor engine in the same way as removing the cover on the injection engine
After installing a new gasket, we assemble the parts in the reverse order.
Tighten the gasket nuts according to the diagram.
Tighten the cylinder head cover fastening nuts to a torque of 6-7 Nm (0.6-0.7 kgfm)
