It is recommended to change the oil in the front and rear axle gearboxes every 45 thousand km

But these are the manufacturer's recommendations.

If during the operation of the car, you loaded the car decently, and had to drive on bad roads, then it is advisable to diagnose the bridge and fill in fresh oil after 30,000 km.

It is advisable to drain the oil after the trip, since the oil used in the front and rear axles has a high viscosity.

And before pouring oil into the gearbox in the autumn and winter periods, it must be heated to increase the fluidity of the oil.

But do not bring the oil to a boil.

The hole for the filler plug of the gearboxes is also a control hole for the oil level, therefore, for more accurate oil filling, the car must be installed on a horizontal plane before filling with oil surface.

When draining the oil, inspect the sediment for metal shavings (this can be done with a magnet).

Each time you lift the car, try to clean the gearbox breather.

80W-90; 85W-90 oil is used for gearboxes.

The front axle housing holds 1.15 liters of oil. The rear axle housing holds 1.3 liters.

You will need: a 17 mm wrench, a 12 mm Allen key, a syringe for filling transmission units, and a container for used oil.
