The Lada Vesta car has two sound signals. One signal is a signal, and the other signal is an alarm
To replace or repair the signals, you need to prepare the car for the work.
Lift the hood and disconnect the negative terminal from the battery using a 10 spanner.
To remove the signal signal, you need to remove the bumper, as described in the article "Removing and installing bumpers on the Lada Vesta car".
After this, disconnect block 1, figure 1, of the front wiring harness from device 2 of the horn.
Using a 13 head, unscrew nut 3 fastening the horn to the car body and remove the horn.
Install the horn in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque of nut 3, figure 1, fastening the horn is 20-30 Nm (2-3 kgf.m).
After repairing or replacing the horn, install the front bumper.
Replacing the horn
Prepare the car as described above.
Disconnect connector 1, figure 2, of the front wiring harness from the alarm sound signal 2.
Using a 13 mm head, unscrew bolt 3 for fastening the alarm sound signal to the car body and remove the alarm sound signal.
Install the alarm sound signal in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque of bolt 3, figure 2, for fastening the alarm sound signal is 20-30 Nm (2-3 kgf.m).
