Removal and installation of air conditioning pipes Lada Largus

In this article we will consider the removal and installation of tubes connecting the entire air conditioning system of the Lada Largus

Removing the tube connecting the compressor to the evaporator (short part)

Prepare the car, install it on a lift or inspection pit

Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery

Bleed the refrigerant from the air conditioning system, as described in the article - Bleeding and filling the air conditioning system of the Lada Largus with refrigerant

Removing the pipelines: 1 - pipeline connecting the compressor to the evaporator (short section); 2 - pipeline connecting the condenser to the evaporator; 3 - nut; 4 - pipeline holder; 5 - pipeline fastening bolt; 6 - the pipeline connecting the compressor to the evaporator (long part)

Using a 10 mm head with an extension, unscrew nut 3, figure 1, of the holder 4 of the pipelines

Remove the holder 4 of the tubes

Disconnecting the evaporator pipelines: 1 - the pipeline connecting the compressor to the evaporator (short part); 2 - the pipeline connecting the condenser to the evaporator; 3 - pipeline fastening bolts

Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew bolt 3, Figure 2, fastenings and disconnect tube 1 connecting the compressor to the evaporator (short part)

Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew bolt 6, Figure 1, pipeline fastenings

Disconnect the tube connecting the compressor to the evaporator (short part) from the pipeline connecting the compressor to the evaporator (long part)

Install plugs in the hole of the evaporator block and on the tubes

Remove the tube connecting the compressor to the evaporator

Installation

We carry out the installation in the reverse order:

  • - before installation, add compressor oil to the compressor or condenser, according to the table in the article - Bleeding and filling the air conditioning system of the Lada Largus with refrigerant;
  • - before installing the tubes, replace the sealing rings and apply compressor oil to them;
  • - tightening torque of the bolt securing the tube connecting the compressor to the evaporator (short part) to the evaporator - 8 Nm;
  • - tightening torque of the bolt securing the tube connecting the compressor to the evaporator (long part) - 8 Nm

We perform vacuuming of the air conditioning system and load the system with R134a refrigerant, in the amount of - 475±35 g.

We check the system for leaks and the operability of the air conditioner.

Removing the tube connecting the compressor to the evaporator (long part)

We prepare the car, install it on a lift or inspection ditch

Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery

Bleed the refrigerant from the air conditioning system, as described in the article - Bleeding and filling the air conditioning system of the Lada Largus with refrigerant

Removing the pipelines: 1 - the pipeline connecting the compressor to the evaporator (long part); 2 - the pipeline connecting the condenser to the evaporator; 3 - nut; 4 - pipeline holder; 5 - headlight adjustment cable holder; 6 - the pipeline connecting the compressor to the evaporator (short part); 7 - pipeline fastening bolt

Using a 10 mm head with an extension, unscrew nut 3, figure 3, of the pipe holder 4

Remove the pipe holder

Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew bolt 7 of the pipe fastening

Disconnect pipe 6, connecting the compressor to the evaporator (short part) from pipe 1, connecting the compressor to the evaporator (long part)

Removing the compressor pipes: 1 - pipeline connecting the compressor to the condenser; 2 - pipeline connecting the compressor to the evaporator (long part); 3 - compressor; 4 - pipeline fastening bolts

Using a 13 key, unscrew bolt 4, figure 4, fastenings and disconnect tube 2 connecting the compressor to the evaporator (long part)

Install technological plugs in the compressor hole and on the tubes

Remove the tube connecting the compressor to the evaporator (long part)

Installation

Installation pwe carry out in the reverse order:

  • - before installation, add compressor oil to the compressor or condenser, according to the table in the article - Bleeding and filling the air conditioning system of the Lada Largus with refrigerant;
  • - before installing the tubes, you need to replace the sealing rings and apply compressor oil to them;
  • - tightening torque of the bolt for fastening the tube connecting the compressor to the evaporator (short part) to the evaporator - 8 Nm;
  • - tightening torque of the bolt for fastening the tube connecting the compressor to the evaporator (long part) - 8 Nm

We carry out vacuuming of the air conditioning system and load the system with R134a refrigerant, in the amount of - 475 ± 35 g.

We check the system for leaks and the operability of the air conditioner.

Removal tube connecting the condenser to the evaporator

Prepare the car, install it on a lift or inspection pit

Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery

Bleed the refrigerant from the air conditioning system, as described in the article - Bleeding and filling the air conditioning system of the Lada Largus with refrigerant

Remove the front bumper, as described in the article - How to remove the bumpers of the Lada Largus

Removing the pipelines: 1 - the pipeline connecting the compressor to the evaporator (short part); 2 - pipeline connecting the condenser to the evaporator; 3 - nut; 4 - pipeline holder; 5 - pipeline fastening bolt; 6 - pipeline connecting the compressor to the evaporator (long part)

Using a 10 mm head with an extension, unscrew nut 3, pipeline holder 4

Remove the holder 4 tubes

Removing the pipelines: 1 - pipeline connecting the compressor to the evaporator (long part); 2 - the pipeline connecting the condenser to the evaporator; 3 - nut; 4 - pipeline holder; 5 - headlight adjustment cable holder; 6 - the pipeline connecting the compressor to the evaporator (short part); 7 - pipeline fastening bolt

Using a 10 head with an extension, unscrew nut 3, the 4 tube holder

Remove the 4 pipe holder

Removing the condenser: 1 - the pipeline connecting the condenser and compressor: 1 - the pipeline connecting the condenser and compressor; 2 - pipeline fastening bolt; 3 - pipeline connecting the condenser and evaporator; 4 - pipeline fastening bolt

Using a 13 mm head with an extension, unscrew nut 3, fastening tube 3 connecting the condenser and evaporator

Disconnect the tube from the condenser

Install technological plugs on the pipeline and in the condenser hole

Disconnecting the evaporator pipelines: 1 - pipeline connecting the compressor to the evaporator (short part); 2 - pipeline connecting the condenser to the evaporator; 3 - pipeline fastening bolts

Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew bolt 3, fastening pipeline 2 connecting the condenser to the evaporator from the evaporator unit

Remove the tube connecting the condenser to the evaporator

Installation

We carry out the installation in the reverse order, while:

  • - before installation, add compressor oil to the compressor or to the condenser, according to the table in the article - Bleeding and filling the air conditioning system of the Lada Largus with refrigerant;
  • - before installing the tubes, you need to replace the sealing rings and apply compressor oil to them;
  • - tightening torque of the bolt fastening the tube connecting the compressor to the evaporator (short part) to the evaporator - 8 Nm;
  • - tightening torque of the bolt fastening the tube connecting the compressor to evaporator (long part) – 8 Nm

Removing the tube connecting the compressor to the condenser

We prepare the car, install it on a lift or inspection pit

Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery

Remove the front bumper as described in the article - How to remove the bumpers of the Lada Largus

Removing the air deflector: 1 - air deflector; 2 - air deflector mounting locations

Using a Torx T30 key, disconnect the air deflector mounting elements and remove the air deflector

Refrigerant pressure sensor: 1 - plug connector; 2 - refrigerant pressure sensor; 3 - the pipeline connecting the compressor to the condenser

Using a flat-head screwdriver, disconnect the plug 1, the refrigerant pressure sensor from the vehicle's wiring harness

Removing the condenser: 1 - the pipeline connecting the condenser and compressor: 1 - the pipeline connecting the condenser and compressor; 2 - pipeline mounting bolt; 3 - the pipeline connecting the condenser and evaporator; 4 - pipeline fastening bolt

Using a 13 mm head, unscrew bolt 2, fastening tube 1 connecting the condenser to the compressor

Disconnect the tube from the condenser and install technological plugs on the tube and in the condenser hole.

Removing the compressor pipelines: 1 - pipeline connecting the compressor to the condenser; 2 - pipeline connecting the compressor to the evaporator (long part); 3 - compressor; 4 - pipeline fastening bolts

Using a 13 mm head, unscrew bolt 4, fastening the tube connecting the compressor to the condenser

Disconnect the tube from the compressor and install the process plugs

Installation

We carry out the installation in the reverse order, while:

  • - before installation, add compressor oil to the compressor or condenser, according to the table in the article - Bleeding and filling the air conditioning system of the Lada Largus with refrigerant;
  • - before installing the tubes, you need to replace the sealing rings and apply compressor oil to them;
  • - tightening torque of the bolts fastening the pipeline connecting the compressor to the condenser - 8 Nm

We carry out vacuuming of the air conditioning system and load the system with refrigerant R134a, in the amount of 475±35g.

We check the system for leaks and the performance of the air conditioner.
