To remove the cable, you will need to remove the air filter (article – “Replacing air filters”)
To better see how this is done, the work is shown with the instrument panel removed.
In the car interior, under the instrument panel, use a screwdriver to move the end of the cable from the gas pedal
And remove the tip
Push the end of the cable into the engine compartment through the hole in the front panel
Remove the two plastic cable sheath holders on the gearbox housing.
Remove the cable sheath from the holder on the lower crankcase ventilation hose.
Using a screwdriver, remove the spring cable clamp from the throttle valve drive sector.
Overcoming the forces of the spring, we turn the drive sector and remove the cable tip from the sector hole
Remove the protective cap from the end of the cable sheath
Use a 13mm wrench to unscrew the adjusting nut
We take the cable out of the bracket slot
Remove the cable
When installing the cable, insert its rubber bushing into the hole in the front panel
Install the throttle cable in reverse order.
Use the nuts to adjust the tension of the drive cable. When the gas pedal is fully released, the throttle valve should be closed.
The deflection of the cable when lightly pressed should not exceed 10 mm.
When the gas pedal is pressed all the way, the throttle valve should be fully open, the throttle sector should not have additional travel.
Press the gas pedal several times and make sure that the throttle valve opens and closes completely, without jamming.
