It’s more convenient to work together.
Using a slotted screwdriver, pry and tuck the edge of the rubber glass seal behind the edge of the window opening
Holding the screwdriver in this position, use another screwdriver to pry up and tuck the edge of the seal from the started area in any other direction. In this way we “pass” the bottom and sides of the opening.
The first screwdriver can be removed after the first 10 cm of the seal have been filled.
We move the bottom edge of the glass away from the door from the outside.
Then, lowering the glass down, we remove it from the opening.
Remove the seal from the glass.
We put the seal on the new glass, starting from the corners.
Insert a strong thin cord in a circle into the cut of the seal, starting from the middle of the lower part. At the junction of the cord we make an overlap of about 10 cm.
We insert the glass into the opening, “dressing” its lower part onto the edge of the opening.
Center the glass in the opening.
Smoothly pull out the cord from the inside, while an assistant from the outside gently presses the glass and keeps it from moving.
In this way we “pass” first the bottom and then the two sides of the glass
We fill the upper part from the edges to the middle, “helping” the seal sit on the edge of the opening.
If the top edge is not completely filled, “upset” the glass by gently hitting the seal of the top edge of the glass with the heel of your palm in the direction from top to bottom.
