The ZIL-5301 has an inconveniently located washer reservoir.
Inconveniences arise when filling it.
Passenger can also touch the pump and hoses.
There is a need to remove the washer reservoir into the engine compartment.
To do this:
Remove the washer reservoir.
Unscrew the bracket on which the reservoir was hanging.
Take a steel plate 1.5-2 mm thick.
We bend the plate and drill a hole in it with a diameter of 8 mm and weld the bracket to it, which we previously unscrewed, on which our tank hung.
We fix the bracket on the radiator grille, as shown in the photo.
A convenient place, nothing gets in the way and is convenient when filling the washer.
Connect the hoses and wires.
The negative wire can be connected to the nearest ground.
Pull the positive wire out of the cabin.
Check the functionality.
