When buying rear hubs for a car, you need to consider that there are old-style and new-style hubs.

Let's look at the main differences between the hubs so as not to confuse them during installation.

The old-style hub differs from the new one in height.

The old-style hub is 10 mm smaller than the new-style hub in height.

On the old-style hub, the seal is made of felt packing and a sealing washer.

On the new-style hub, a rubber cuff is installed.

The bearings in the hubs are the same.

The rear boot and cuff are the same.

If the axle liner is new and the hub is old, then an additional spacer is installed on the hub.

If the liner is old, then the spacer is not installed.
